Rust Quartz Countertop Kit

Transform old countertops into stunning, stone-realistic surfaces with the Remodel Resin White Platinum Kit — a professional-grade hybrid resin engineered for premium white granite and marble finishes. Its reactive formula locks in veins, cells, and metallic accents so your design stays realistic, and it's built as the industry's best non-yellowing white coating — stop wasting money on countertops that turn yellow over time.

Featuring marbleized rust, brown, and soft gray veining over a bright white base, this kit delivers the hard-to-match rust movement of real quartz — over laminate, tile, wood, MDF, concrete, and other properly prepared surfaces.

What's in the kit:

  • Resin — choose your size:
    • White Platinum (2:1 ratio) — 1.5 Gallons (32-38 sq ft): our standard full-size kit.
    • White Platinum (2:1 ratio) — 0.75 Gallons (16-20 sq ft): ideal for smaller projects, sample boards, and first-time users wanting to test the system before committing to a full pour.
  • TrueTint Red Natural
  • TrueTint Yellow Oxide
  • TrueTint Dark Brown
  • TrueTint True Black
  • White Primer

After pouring, tape your edges and leave taped for 20 minutes — this minimizes washout and keeps your pour contained while the resin begins to set.

Coverage: 5-6 oz per square foot

  • White Platinum 1.5-Gallon kit: up to 32-38 sq ft
  • White Platinum 0.75-Gallon kit: up to 16-20 sq ft

A custom mix of rust, brown, and soft gray veining over a bright white base for the marbleized, hard-to-match movement Rust Quartz is known for. Full recipe and step-by-step on remodelresin.com.

For best results, pour when your workspace is between 65–75°F. This gives you the full working time and lets the resin self-level properly.

  • Ideal pour conditions: 65–75°F
  • Going above 75°F or pouring in high humidity will speed up set time and shorten your working window
  • Never pour in direct sunlight — it will set up too fast to work with. Don't put freshly poured pieces out in the sun — wait 7 days before leaving in the sun to avoid adhesion issues
  • If you're in a hot climate: pour early in the morning, and consider cooling the resin in the fridge for up to 60 minutes before mixing to slow the set time

Our extended-working-time systems are our REZINITE (1:1 ratio) and White Platinum Extended Working Time (2:1 ratio). Our fast-set system is our Clear Remodel Resin (2:1 ratio).
