Simple Soapstone Kit — 1.5 Gallon

A deep charcoal base with soft dimensional movement and crisp white veining that drifts and disappears the way real stone does. Simple Soapstone is proof that the high-end look doesn't need a long ingredient list — just two blacks working together and a little white ink-style veining on top.

What's in the kit:

  • 1.5 gallons (192 oz) resin, 2:1 ratio
  • Black Obsidian Metallic Powder
  • Black Bonding Primer
  • Black True Tint
  • White True Tint

Coverage: 32–38 sq ft at 5–6 oz per square foot

The Simple Soapstone recipe: A two-black base plus a whisper of white. Split your material in half — one half gets Black Obsidian Metallic Powder at 1 scoop per 4 ounces, the other half gets Black True Tint at 1 drop per ounce. Pour both blacks side by side without overmixing, so they meld into that natural two-tone depth instead of blending into flat black. White True Tint goes on last and sparingly — just a few drops, traced on with a popsicle stick like ink, for veining only.

Drag your veins in broken, uneven lines — never straight, never symmetrical. Let a few run off the edge, chop up any that start looking too perfect, then hit the piece with heat and a light pass of isopropyl alcohol to pull it all together. Step back before you decide you're done — it's easy to keep adding veins, but restraint is what makes it read like honed stone instead of a painted one.

Every pour is one of a kind. Yours will be too.

You Got This.
